15 seeds from our plants in Berlin. Pale, creamy peppers with fruity, floral notes and serious heat. Don't let the colour fool you.

Origin and breeding

Part of the legendary 7 Pot family from Trinidad, the 7 Pot White is a rare, pale-colored superhot known for its distinctive creamy pods and brutal heat. It gets its name from the local saying that one pod is hot enough to spice seven pots of stew. The breeder we bought our seeds from describes this as a selection for its pale colour. We save seeds from peppers that best match the variety.

Growing in our Berlin setup

  • We start these indoors from November to January in Berlin, using grow lights and a heating mat. Adjust the timing to your climate and setup. We use nursery trays or 5×5×5 cm pots.
  • Use light, well-draining seed-starting soil.
  • Soil temp: 26 to 30 °C, Air temp: 22 to 28 °C, Humidity: >60%.
  • Use a humidity dome + heating mat.
  • Provide 12 to 16 hours of light daily.
  • Add airflow with a fan after germination.

Flavour and heat

The flavour is fruity and lightly floral, with a slow-building burn.

Estimated heat: 1,100,000 to 1,800,000 SHU.

Our peppers haven’t been lab-tested for Scoville heat.

We grow each variety ourselves before offering the seeds, and save seeds from peppers that best match the variety. Our plants are open-pollinated, so you may still see some variation in the peppers you grow.
