These 15 Brazilian Ghost Pepper seeds come from our plants in Berlin, producing fruity, superhot peppers with excellent heat and yield.

Origin & Breeding
The Brazilian Ghost Pepper is a superhot chili from Brazil, believed to be a local cross involving Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Pepper) genetics. It was selected and stabilized by Brazilian growers for its unique traits, including elongated, wrinkled red pods and extreme heat. While less well-known internationally, it has gained popularity among chili growers for its reliable production and fiery strength.

  • Germination & Growing

    • Start indoors (Nov–Jan) in nursery trays or 5×5×5 cm pots.

    • Use light, well-draining seed-starting soil.

    • Soil temp: 26–30 °C, Air temp: 22–28 °C, Humidity: >60%.

    • Use a humidity dome + heating mat.

    • Provide 12–16 hours of light daily.

    • Add airflow with a fan after germination.

Flavour Profile & Heat
The Brazilian Ghost Pepper delivers a sharp, fruity, and slightly floral flavor, followed by a fast-building, aggressive burn. Heat levels range between 1,000,000 and 1,300,000 SHU, with some pods pushing even higher depending on growing conditions.

Note: These seeds were open-pollinated in proximity to superhot pepper varieties, which may result in slightly smaller pod sizes and variations in heat levels. Flavour and productivity remain excellent, but some variation may occur in plant traits.
