These 15 Yellow Moruga Scorpion chili seeds come from our own plants in Berlin, producing extremely hot, fruity and high-yielding superhot pods.

Origin & Breeding

The Yellow Moruga Scorpion is a color variant of the original Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, one of the world’s most infamous superhots. Bred in Trinidad and Tobago, this yellow type was selectively developed to emphasize a sweeter, citrus-forward flavor while maintaining the signature ferocity of its red counterpart. It’s known for its wrinkled, bumpy pods and relentless heat

    • Germination & Growing

      • Start indoors (Nov–Jan) in nursery trays or 5×5×5 cm pots.

      • Use light, well-draining seed-starting soil.

      • Soil temp: 26–30 °C, Air temp: 22–28 °C, Humidity: >60%.

      • Use a humidity dome + heating mat.

      • Provide 12–16 hours of light daily.

      • Add airflow with a fan after germination.

Flavour Profile & Heat
This variety offers a bright, fruity flavor with slightly citric notes, balanced by a deep, lingering burn. Heat levels typically range from 1,200,000 to 2,000,000 SHU, making it a top-tier superhot with a tropical twist.

Note: These seeds were open-pollinated in proximity to superhot pepper varieties, which may result in slightly smaller pod sizes and variations in heat levels. Flavour and productivity remain excellent, but some variation may occur in plant traits.
